Welcome to the American Voters Association (AVA) web site.
On 1-11-2009, the National Debt was $10.618 Trillion.
On 5-24-2010, the National Debt was $12.992 Trillion.
Clear evidence of serious financial mismanagement on the part of U. S. Senators and Representatives, none of whom ever had to account to the American people on a continual and timely basis, and in an organized manner, answering "the people's" questions about that financial management, because "the people" have never been organized for the purpose of obliging them to do so, by organizing for the purpose of insisting they do so.
And do so they would, because no politician is going to, in effect, tell "the people" to go to hell.
Therefore, the mission of the AVA is to organize 5 million "concerned citizens," - a statistically significant portion of the voting population - for the purpose of having AVA representatives interview every U. S. Senator and every U. S. Representative every month about their financial management of our federal government. We will also interview their challengers in every election cycle.
I call it the "12 Step Interview Intervention Program!"
These interviews will be be taped, transcribed and posted on our web site for members to watch, listen to, or read at their leisure.
The premise is once we do this, all politicians, knowing they will have to answer to you for making you pay for their questionable spending and their questionable financial management of our government, will change their financial management behavior, rather than try to explain what appears to be the inexplicable, for fear of being ousted in the next election!
